Progression

Task 1: Propose an innovative project proposal as a group.(Week 01- Week 05)

Week 03 (08/05/25)

Figure 1.2
target audience research(08/05/25)
  • This week's task was to conduct our research on Wayangmind and note the findings in our Miro boards.
  • Each topic of research was assigned evenly among all group members to complete.
  • The topic I chose is the Target audience. In the Wayangmind brief, they already mentioned their target audience, so I just focused on the target audience my group has chosen (Travelers).

Week 04(15/05/25)

Figure 1.3
Research summary(15/05/25)
  • This week's task was to summarize all of the research topics in one individual frame and to complete the 3 personas.
  • My task was to do the research summary with one other groupmate while the rest did the personas.
  • After completing the summary, we consulted Mr Mike and he gave us feedback.
    • What are your actual plans for future projects? Or any plans to enhance the user experience when using the VR facility/service?
    • Who is your current target audience as a digital wellness platform, besides your aim to aid mentally unwell individuals?
    • wayangmind accessible in common public spaces for travellers?(further explain the possibility of wayangmind as a platform for travellers)

Figure 1.4
Personas(15/05/25)

  • These were the personas that my groupmates wrote.
  • we had trouble choosing which 3 personas out of the 5 so we consulted Mr Mike and based on his feedback:
    • Have to give justification for each persona.
    • Demographic Research: Find the purpose of travel percentage for each persona.

Figure 1.5
Demographic Research(15/05/25)
  • Based on the feedback given, this is what we found online.
  • Chosen personas: Business Traveler, Returning traveler, and Retired traveler.

Week 05(22/05/25)

Figure 1.6
Visiting Wayangmind(22/05/25)

  • This week, all WayangMind groups got the chance to visit the WayangMind office to get more insights from the creators and observe how the VR is used.
  • Key takeaways from the visit:
    • How users reacted during the session.
    • The spatial experience replicates real-world settings to help users process emotions in familiar environments, while the upcoming app will include audio features and track daily mental progress.
    • A wearable bracelet is in development to track users' vitals.
  • We were able to get a deeper understanding of the WayangMind project, and it would help us a lot in the next few weeks.

Week 06(29/05/25)

Figure 1.7
Survey and interview questions list(22/05/25)

  • We started to send out survey forms this week using Google Forms.
  • Based on feedback from Mr Mike, the questions cannot be biased and had to be very general; we also needed to have different sets of questions for different personas.
  • Our goal was to get 60 responses.

Week 07(05/06/25)

Figure 1.8
Data analysis summary(07/06/25)

  • We collected the data from the Google Form responses and did a summary of each question.

Figure 1.9
Overall summary(07/06/25)

  • After analyzing the responses for each question, we did an overall summary.

Week 09(19/06/25)

Figure 2.1
'How might we?'(19/06/25)

After POV and the 'How might we' questions were finalized, we continued working on the proposal slides for the presentation in week 10.

Week 10(26/06/25)

Presentation Feedback:
  • objectives and brand positioning - be more specific
  • For the persona of a returning traveler, be more specific also (or change it into vacation)
  • Try to be more consistent with the design
  • More on digital advertisement (exclude billboard) and also think about where the poster should be put (not inside the boarding gate)
  • Competitors, focus more on airport-based.

(Week 06- Week 14)

Week 11(03/07/25)

Figure 2.3
Customer Journey Map(03/07/25)
  • This week, Mr Mike tasked us to do the customer journey map.
  • He showed us a few examples from seniors to help our understanding.

Figure 2.4
Touchpoints(03/07/25)
  • The touchpoints were very important for this part of the task.
  • We had to really brainstorm ideas and be very specific on our points.
  • After Mr Mike's Feedback session, we listed out all of our ideas in the touchpoint.

Week 12(10/07/25)

  • All these designs were made in Canva.

Week 14(24/07/25)

  • This week is the deadline for the designs in the Gantt Chart.
  • We combine all of our designs into the Miro board for Mr Mike to give feedback.

Figure 3.1
Designs(24/07/25)

Figure 3.2
Designs(24/07/25)

  • These are our finalized designs as of 24/07/25 before feedback.
  • Feedback for my part:
    • Don't make the black shadow too strong; something like the story slides is acceptable, where it is brighter and feels more dreamy.
    • Darken the pink boxes a bit or make the words darker; not enough contrast.
