  • For Project 03, we had the idea to promote the capybara promo drinks.

  • I decided on a simple composition using vector design. Using a mix of images and designs i created myself.
  • Originally, I wanted to make the entire thing using the pen tool and illustration but sir adviced me not to do so.

Zus logo (18/06/25)
  • I could not find a Zus logo cutout online, so I tried to be a flat Zus logo image and mask out the logo myself using Adobe Photoshop.

  • Just using the selection tool wasn't enough, so I cleaned up the selection with a brush and then masked it out with a white colour just like the Zus cups.

  • For the Moka pot, I masked out an illustration of the said pot and used it for the composition.

Matcha drink (19/06/25)
  • To create the composition of the cup being filled, I used the masking option and started with an empty cup, then positioned the mask all the way up to reveal the Zus logo on the cup.

  • After completing the composition for the drink, I compiled all the elements into one composition file so that I wouldn't affect the animation if I scaled it all down.

  • I added the lid and adjusted the position, and then added the splash to make it slightly more dramatic.

  • I exported the composition to Premiere Pro to adjust the speed to 130%, as I think it looks slightly too slow.

REFLECTION

During the progression of this project, I got to test out the skills that I have picked up from project 01. I managed to discover new ways to use the things that I have learned throughout the weeks.
