Progress
  • First we all contribute a topic for our animation video so that we have many options to choose from and everyone will have a chance to chip in an idea that they want.
  • we then take a vote on which 3 topics we prefer as a group we prefer as a group.

Figure 1.2
Topic options (05/02/25)

  • the 3 chosen were our topics that e presented to our lecturer to discuss which is the better option
  • Our lecturer suggested Cyber security but focus on Scams.
  • The female safety option was considered but they arent many case studies on it in Malaysia specifically which leads us to choose cybersecurity as our final topic for presentation.

tasks (05/02/25)

  • Each of us decided to write an introduction, and  a problem statement and find a case study each.
  • We will choose the best option in the end but this way everyone will be included and have a chance to write their ideas instead on it being only a one-person job.

flip presentation tasks(05/02/25)

  • for the flip presentation, we split the task for everyone to do a certain slide.
  • I chose the "why we chose this topic" slide.

  • Sir said that we should focus on one target audience and suggested we focus on elderly people as those are the people that get targeted by scams the most as they are the most vulnerable.

10 REFLECTION

Working on our group animation project about cybersecurity scams targeting the elderly was both a challenging and rewarding experience. From the start, our team was highly efficient in devising tasks, ensuring that everyone had a role in the creative process. We made it a priority to include all members in discussions, allowing each of us to contribute ideas and refine the animation’s concept. This collaborative approach not only strengthened our final product but also made the entire process more engaging and enjoyable. Seeing our ideas come to life through animation was incredibly fulfilling, especially knowing that our project had an important message to spread.

However, the project was not without its difficulties. One of the biggest challenges we faced was managing our workload, as we had multiple assignments due on the same day. Despite the time constraints, we remained focused and worked together efficiently, supporting one another whenever challenges arose. Our ability to communicate and stay organized played a crucial role in meeting our deadline without compromising the quality of our animation. In the end, this project highlighted the importance of teamwork, adaptability, and time management, leaving us with valuable lessons for future collaborations.
