REFLECTION
During this module, I can honestly say it’s been a challenging but rewarding journey. The class was structured around four main assignments—the draft dissertation, visual design, final dissertation, and journal article. Each of these felt like stepping stones, guiding me through the process of developing and presenting my research.
One thing that really helped me out was the weekly feedback sessions. Every week, I got the chance to share my progress and hear constructive feedback from my lecturer and classmates. It was incredibly helpful. Those sessions kept me on track and helped me see my work from different perspectives. By the end, I could see how much my work had evolved thanks to those discussions. The weekly feedback Google Doc sheet was another lifesaver. Whenever I needed to revisit a piece of feedback or check if I’d fixed something, it was right there. This habit of regularly reviewing and applying feedback not only improved my memory but also helped me grow as a writer. Week by week, I noticed my ideas becoming clearer and my writing more polished.
Im not gonna lie, the draft dissertation felt daunting, but it gave me a chance to organize my thoughts and explore my topic. The visual design assignment was a fun challenge—it made me think about how to communicate my research visually, which was a whole new skill for me. The final dissertation was the most demanding, but it was also the most satisfying to complete. And the journal article? That was a real test of how well I could condense my work into something concise and professional.
All in all, this class has been a transformative experience. The combination of the assignments, the weekly feedback sessions, and the Google Doc system didn’t just make me a better student—it made me a more confident researcher and writer. I’m really grateful for everything I’ve learned and for the support that helped me get through it. I know these skills will stick with me as I move forward, and I’m excited to see where they take me.
