Objective: In this first part of the assignment, you will focus on creating a UI design prototype for your digital resume or curriculum vitae (CV) using prototyping software such as Adobe XD or Figma.

The UI design prototype will showcase the layout, visual elements, and user interface interactions of your digital resume.

Suitable font heading - Croissant one(21/05/24)

for the name, it had to be thicker. i tried out a few different fonts to see which matched the final prototype the best.

Adding Shapes (21/05/24)

Using the pen tool, i drew out a graphical element to add.

Figure 1.8
Adding Color (23/05/24)

I had already thought of the colors i want to use so I just tried different shades, just incase it might be too light and blended into the background.

Figure 1.9
Adding more shapes (23/05/24)

I originally wanted to use the same shaped throughout the page but I decided to try different shapes but with a similar concept so all the graphical elements are different but somewhat the same with the bumping and smooth lines.

Creating Icons (24/05/24)

It was difficult to find an icon online that can change to the exact color to match the rest of the layout so i decided to create the icons myself with the shape tool and the pen tool. I wanted to keep it simple for the employer to see clearly and understand fast.

Figure 2.2
changing the colors (24/05/24)

I adjusted the colors of the shapes to match the rest of the design.

Adding the Profile image (26/05/24)

Using the circle shape tool, I drew where I wanted the image to be before inserting my own image into the circle.

REFLECTION

My experience with this project is quite fun as i got to design my own resume in as many creative ways as I want. It let me experience using Figma for the first time and it was quite easy and convenient to use especially with the pen tool and the UI Components already prepared for you. Having fun aside, this project outcome can really help me in my future while applying for jobs for my major.

Overall, this project was a good experience and can help me in the future in using prototyping software's like Figma.
