Experience
learning DPI was overall a very interesting experience. i got to walk through the process of photoshop, double exposure, photomanipulation and animation using after effects. this class had a lot of weekly class activities which were very helpful in my upcoming projects and helped me memorize better. Mr Martin would upload the learning slides and upload youtube videos to help me remember certain processes that i would need in my projects. the assignments took a lot of patience and practice as i did have trouble and got non-satisfying results in my work that i had to re-do. i got to understand photoshop and after effects as i had never used after effects and learned that it was very useful in animating,
Observation
for most of our projects we needed inspiration from Pinterest that Mr Martin encouraged us to use, i think my observation skills improved because i had to look through the inspiration to understand what the person behind the artwork did.
Findings
i find that having an clear idea in mind on what i want to do for the artwork as well as thinking ahead like what i can do in the end for animation, whether it would be difficult to do animation or if i know how to to animate that certain element. it really helps make the process of making the final work faster and more efficient as i don't have to take too much time in between to change the artwork because i wouldn't be able to proceed.
